JESUS, Our Saviour, He is

He wore a crown of thorns,
We wear a headdress of glory,
Pierced was He,
Our transgressions forgiven;
Jesus, our Saviour, He is.

A Lamb to the slaughter.
Silent as a sheep before shearers,
Crushed was He,
For our iniquities,
Jesus, our Saviour, He is.

Our peace,
Punishment upon His shoulders,
His wounds,
Our healing,
Jesus, our Saviour, He is.

Blameless on the tree He hang;
The righteous for the unrighteous,
Poured His life to death,
For us to gain eternal life,
Jesus, our Saviour, He is.

Victory over sin,
We attained in Him,
What an intercessor and Advocate!
Our friend on high,
Jesus, our Saviour, He is.

Away He went,
Promised that He is returning,
As the King, not the Lamb,
For the Church to take,
Jesus, our Saviour, He is.

He died for the Salvation of all.
None is excluded,
Come who thirst and drink,
Without cost, come,
Jesus, our Saviour, He is.

He is calling,
Turn around and see His eyes of Love.
Waiting for you to embrace,
What an Invitation!
Jesus, our Saviour, He is.

We shall see Him in Glory,
Joy and peace flowing within,
Forever we shall reign with Him,
What a wonder and mystery!
Jesus, our Saviour, He is.

4Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. Isaiah 53:4-7 NIV

If Jesus is not yet your Lord and Saviour, consider choosing to be saved (born again) to make Him your Saviour and Lord. If you hear God’s voice harden not your heart. Apart from Him you cannot arise, shine and fulfill your God-given mandate. If you would like to be born again and surrender your life to Jesus, as you Lord your Saviour, you may say the below sample salvation prayer:

The prayer: Dear God, I acknowledge I am a sinner, forgive me my sin and wash me with the blood of Jesus Christ. I believe (have faith) you gave your son, Jesus Christ, to die for me that if I confess and believe in Him, I will not perish but have everlasting life. I take you, Jesus, as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, God, for the gift of Salvation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

If you have said this prayer, confessed and believed and you meant it, you can share your decision with someone who you know is born-again, and keep up this journey to eternal life. Join a Bible-believing Church and desire to grow in the Word, prayer, and fellowship with God and brethren and above all, be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is our friend, partner, helper, comforter, and guide. We have been sealed with Him for the day of redemption. Do not be ashamed of the decision you have made; it is the best you have ever made since you were born. Thus, rise and shine confidently as God’s beloved child.
