GOD ALWAYS COMES THROUGH

Sometimes He’s four days late.

John 11:21

Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”

Other times He answers before we call.

Isaiah 65:24

“Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.”

Sometimes the biological clock has stopped ticking.

Genesis 18:12

“So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?””

Other times it’s as ridiculous as a virgin birth.

Luke 1:34

“Mary said to the angel, “How will this happen since I am a virgin?””

Sometimes He allows us to be thrown into the furnace.

Daniel 3:19

“Then Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and his attitude toward them changed. He ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual.”

Other times He answers by fire.

1 Kings 18:38

“Then the fire of the LORD fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the soil, and also licked up the water in the trench.”

Sometimes He answers with a still small voice

1 Kings 19:11-13

“Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by … a still small voice.”

Other times He thunders out of the whirlwind.

Job 38:1

“Then the LORD spoke to Job out of the storm.”

His thoughts are not our thoughts,

Nor are His ways our ways,

Even though it tarries, it will surely come to pass,

Because one thing is consistent, God always comes through!
